20th October 2023Brian Dowling appointed as Chief Technical Officer at Genesis
27th July 2023: Genesis, the Dublin-based aircraft leasing company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Dowling to the newly created position of Chief Technical Officer, with effect 2nd August 2023.
Brian will have responsibility for operational strategy and will provide leadership, direction and management across the technical function.
Commenting on the appointment Karl Griffin, CEO of Genesis, said: “Brian is an exceptional Chief Technical Officer who brings over four decades of deep technical & asset management leadership to Genesis. Brian’s appointment enhances our strategy to expand our fleet & manage aircraft throughout their full life cycle”.
Prior to Genesis, Mr. Dowling was the Chief Technical Officer at aircraft leasing firm CDB Aviation and has held key leadership roles across the global aviation industry, including SMBC, RBS Aviation Capital and Shannon Aerospace.
