Global full–lifecycle aircraft lessor acquires three mature in–demand Airbus aircraft, welcoming three new lessees
21st January 2025: Genesis, the Dublin based full lifecycle commercial aircraft lessor, announced today that it has concluded a transaction with trading partner Carlyle Aviation Partners (“Carlyle Aviation”), the commercial aviation investment and servicing arm of Carlyle’s Global Credit platform, for the acquisition of three aircraft; one Airbus A330-200 with Air France, one Airbus A320-200 with Electra Airways, and one A320-200 with Freebird Airlines.
Genesis Chief Executive Officer Karl Griffin stated, “Genesis continues to build our fullservice life-cycle aircraft leasing and trading platform & we are delighted to conclude a repeat transaction with our trading partner Carlyle Aviation.
